Poplar Bluff, MO – On Saturday, March 31, Hydro Adventures will be hosting the first annual Community Egg Hunt. Starting at 2pm, children ages 12 and under are invited to participate. There are two age groups, and participants must bring their own basket. While the hunt is free, a $3 donation to benefit Bread Shed is encouraged. When the hunt ends, guests can stay and enjoy the indoor attractions that are currently open at Hydro Adventures, including the Mega Arcade, Mini Bowling and Laser Tag.
“Bread Shed is a great organization that helps our community,” explains Barrett Byers, General Manager of Hydro Adventures. “That’s why we want to help.” Bread Shed’s mission is to “feed the hungry, both spiritually and physically, and act as an extension of the love of Jesus Christ in Poplar Bluff, MO.” The church and community member run organization serves families in Poplar Buff, Ellsinore, and Doniphan.
Hydro Adventures’ Water Park will open to guests on Memorial Day weekend. However, guests are invited year-round to play in the Mega Arcade which hosts over 30 arcade games, challenge their friends to a game of Mini Bowling, and compete with other players in a round of Laser Tag. Attractions are open every Friday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
