SeaWorld is working to protect animals across the globe, and the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund is an important part of those efforts. The Fund has granted more than $16 million to over 1,200 projects in 60 countries and on all seven continents around the world.

Established as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit private foundation in 2003, the Fund initially provided resources for a wide variety of conservation programs worldwide that aligned with four key areas: animal rescue and rehabilitation, conservation education, habitat protection, and species research. Today, the Fund has continued to support these focus areas, but has also refined its approach and developed specific conservation priorities within these areas.

The Fund supports wildlife research, habitat protection, animal rescue and conservation education worldwide. It also provides our guests with the opportunity to make a difference in these efforts in protecting wildlife. Because SeaWorld provides all administrative and development costs, as well as staffing and infrastructure, 100 percent of donations to the Fund go to on-the-ground wildlife conservation initiatives and directly impacts efforts to save wild animals.
